Ok, so it a mix of old / out of date kernels ?
I've heard of other devices in irc.

All the kernels are up-to-date, just the older U-Boot, the one that fixed alternating boot but not led.

I haven't noticed this on my Pink V2 but I went through the install process on that ages ago if that has anything to do with it.

@Cybertimber2009
Thanks for the heads up, I'll leave it be but left syslog-ng disabled at boot.

@WHSE
If it helps I'm using 2011.04.rootfs (Step0 from when you first released OXNAS support).

Guys,

df does me *no* good. 'pacman -Q udev' and model, and if you are having the problem.

Your / is ext3, mine is ext2, wonder if it could be that?
I could redo it if someone tells me which root fs to use. Try with ext2 and ext3, would I have to touch u-Boot or args to make ext3 work as ext3?

For the GFN/Pink, I think it only boots ext2 ..?

The Pro can do either, but the uboot variables need touched to switch.

Well, I have dockstars and a pink. I thought that the rootfs could be remounted, booting as ext2 and switch to ext3?
Needs refining to what system, drive type, and whatever to narrow it down. None of mine is affected, all on hd though. One has 19Mb everything.log but it is on an external ip address with logging firewall.

Also... my / is ext2 (so mount says) but I could have sworn I formatted it as ext3 in Fedora before running the installer. Does the installer script format the drive?
