This script assumes you used my install script.

Otherwise, be wary.

Hello,

First time poster here. Thanks for the great info!

I installed on my Pogoplug Pro (POGO-P01) and all went fine. I am now trying to revert the pogoplug back to it's original state as I just don't have the need for Arch Linux ARM on it anymore.

I see the script above, but am not sure if I used WarsheadsSE install script. I followed the standard instructions for the Pogoplug pro at:

http://archlinuxarm.org/platforms/armv6 ... provideov3

Which calls the script:

http://archlinuxarm.org/os/oxnas/oxnas-install.sh

Based on the URLs I would assume that is indeed WarheadSE's script, but I wanted to confirm before proceeding.

Thanks for the help!
JP

On a second note: Is there anyway to install Arch Linux ARM on a USB stick/drive where I am able to boot the pogoplug normally without the stick and into arch with the stick? I would gladly leave it on to play around with if there was a way to do so.. Though it seems that is not the case.

Unfortunately, the "simply remove the usb" is not a working option at this time. We continue to work on it, but the kernel is being a pain.

That was indeed my install script, btw.

I'm trying to restore my pogoplug b04 to it's orignal state. I've use the script mentioned in this topic.
I get this output, can someone help?

Had a problem and had to reformat? The blparam program is part of the stock flash image, and can be pulled out by mounting it. I've posted how several times.

Trying to revert and getting this message....

[root@stradivarius ~]# wget http://archlinuxarm.org/os/oxnas/oxnas-revert.sh
--1969-12-31 18:18:57-- http://archlinuxarm.org/os/oxnas/oxnas-revert.sh
Resolving archlinuxarm.org (archlinuxarm.org)... failed: Name or service not known.
wget: unable to resolve host address `archlinuxarm.org'

I'm sure it's me and I am missing a step. Linux commands are still very foriegn to me, but I'm learning! I have tried to find a step by step for the revert process, but have come up empty. Could someone point me in the right direction?

Thank you!

Just to be sure, you actually want to go back to stock, and never return?

Cause this isn't a willy-nilly command.

You need to make sure you can resolve the hostname.
