Ah-ha! Rapidshare is now playing ball.

I've done the necessary on a SATA hard drive, and when switched on the pogo appears to briefly access the disk and repeatedly spew things to the serial port, which is more than it was doing before. Unfortunately I've only got an oscilloscope to hand, rather than a 3.3V-friendly serial interface, so I won't be able to go any further until I've rounded up the relevant bits to make one.

Assuming I eventually manage to un-brick it, if the SATA port turns out to be usable for storage that'll make up for this unwanted steep bit of learning curve :)

Read my descriptions starting on page 6. I had a lot of problems during de-brick but finally it went to a successful boot into stock OS

Run the sata boot, and use that to replace the stock images in NAND.

Hi

I do not understand English very well (google translate  ). I went through the previous messages.
So i need:

- A computer with knoppix for example
- A sata drive
- The Pogoplug

But how do I connect Pogoplug to the computer ?

Hi

I will receive the eSATA dock / housing next week :D .

I have a question. Before breaking the pogo, I backed up the nand.
Is it possible, once started on the sata drive to replace the original nand in the pogo?
