Huge Log files

I'm getting really big log files, syslog-ng was taking over 70% of the cpu.
Here is the tail of my daemon log

the daemon, errors and everything logs are all huge, and udev is taking 7% of cpu time. I had to kill the udev process to reboot. What do I do next? This is a pogopro.

been getting the same issue here to. Syslog-ng is using a lot of cpu. Also my resolv.conf file got overwritten with a blank file :shock:

whats going on? Rebuilding resolv.conf now.

EDIT: resolv.conf was rebuilt by calling dhcpcd. Im guessing during boot it called dhcpcd before eth0 was connected?? Weird.

It's all inter-related to the udev issue. I cannot personally render any advice at the moment

pacman -Syu would have updated udev, which is known to be causing this issue at the moment.

I downgraded udev, and it didn't seem to change anything.

I decided to stop syslog-ng temporarily because of the large files created...

I did the same. I have found if you kill the pid for the udev that is taking up the cpu time, it still seems to work fine, and starting syslog-ng sees to work fine after that.
I'm trying to look at the logs for help, but they are 1.8G and nothing I have seems to like to look at them.
