USB Stick broken - Pogoplug Pro now bricked?

Postby kwave » Fri Jul 01, 2011 10:23 pm

Hi,

i've just installed archlinux as described in http://archlinuxarm.org/platforms/armv6/pogoplug-provideov3.
All worked very well and after a few reboots the usb stick simply didn't blink anymore. I tried to plug in the stick into my ubuntu box - same here. Now I am sure my usb stick is broken.

How can i recover the "usb stick"-part of the arch-linux installation without having access to the plug itself?
The installation manual mentioned earlier requires access to the shell of the plug. But if I am trying to boot the plug without usb stick it just blinks green and doesn't get an IP.

Thanks

Go back, click on Installation, and scroll all the way down :)
