Check version with out opening case

Postby mysteri » Sun Aug 21, 2011 9:17 am

Is there a way to check which revision of the pogoplug i have with out opening the case? I know its says on the bottom that its a PRO, however as the drivers in OXNAS Kernel Modules seem to stop my server from booting correctly I am working if i have a different revision

Just for comfirmation my /proc/cpuinfo says:

Processor: ARMv6-compatible processor rev 5 (v61)
Hardware: Oxsemi NAS

What does 'uname -a' tell you?

Then it is definitely an oxnas platform.

As for the modules causing a problem, I have heard of it being "odd behavior. Try editing the /etc/rc.conf, chaning the DAEMONS=() line to contain 2 instances of 'network' (no quotes). Seems to be an odd issue with the networking coming up in time for something.

Wrong chip :p

Look for the big silver sticker.

It's an oxnas either way.

Some pics:
http://www.pogoplugged.com/forum/thread/12366/Pins-for-the-two-connectors-on-the-v2-Pink-board./

One thing to note is the clear plastic case is held in place by 4 small notches at the front, take a look in the first vent slots at the top an bottom, i used a very small flat screw driver which i placed in the middle (in line with the pogoplug inscription) and gently lifted the clear case, not very much at all and i mean only a tiny bit and then pull the clear case clean off. When you pop it open watch as the top half is connected to the bottom by a small cable, but it does have enough length to play
