Hello slycat,
Thanks for your prompt response.
I guess I would have to use the serial cable. Hopefully, I don't have to do any soldering job.
Unfortunately, all the links to Arch Linux ARM.com are dead.
Anyone knows a link to how to open the Pogoplug Pro case?
Luckily, I have a DB9-to-RJ11 cable around. And base on this schema:
http://www.allpinouts.org/index.php/DB9_to_RJ11I think I can hook up the three needed wires (GND, Rx, Tx) to the Pro's board. (Please someone confirm I do not need soldering)
And the DB9 end to the serial port on my old windows box and fire the terminal up.
Will this work?
I think only if I used the USB port on my computer then I will need CA-42 or DKU-5 cable which have a transceiver, right?
Thanks
