X11 Forwarding

Postby fuchini » Sat Nov 26, 2011 4:18 pm

Hello, I'm trying to run a program called Xlink Kai on my pogo. When I try to run it it says "cannot execute binary file". According to this post: http://www.teamxlink.co.uk/forum/viewtopic.php?t=42522&sid=591773166e134efddd8cedf53cefe633 this program needs a GUI to run but you can forward X11 through SSH.

With various guides I edited /etc/ssh/ssh_config and /etc/ssh/sshd_config (I edited both of this files in the Pogo) but I still get the "cannot run binary file" problem when trying to run:
$this->bbcode_second_pass_code('', 'ssh -x root@ip.address /path/to/kaiengine')

The changes I did to ssh_config was to uncomment:
$this->bbcode_second_pass_code('', 'ForwardAgent yes
ForwardX11 yes
ForwardX11Trusted yes')

and the changes to sshd_config were:
$this->bbcode_second_pass_code('', 'X11Forwarding yes')

I haven't realized it was x86. Thanks! I found an other program that may work on ARM, XBSlink (I'll try and post my results).
