P21 Gigabit?

P21 Gigabit?

I just got a gigabit switch for my network and my POGO P21 is showing as 10/100 mode. I thought they were gigbit? Am i wrong? If im not is there something i need to do to change the transfer mode?

My guess is that Auto-neg of the speed didn't quite work.

I figuired it out. After playing with ethtool and trying to force it on to no avail i decided to swap the cable and that fixed it. I guess that cheap cable that came with my router didnt support 1000.

GbE uses all 4 pairs, where as 10 & 100 only use 2 pair, so if you have so much as 1 wire nicked or mispunched, it won't work.
