The updater script does not perform an update. It installs 2 packages.

Hi, i have a problem with cryptsetup:

root@debian:/usr/local/bin# cryptsetup luksOpen /dev/sda3 bin
Enter passphrase for /dev/sda3:
device-mapper: reload ioctl failed: Invalid argument
Failed to setup dm-crypt key mapping for device /dev/sda3.
Check that kernel supports aes-cbc-essiv:sha256 cipher (check syslog for more info).
Failed to read from key storage.

It is secure to install this updater on my pogoplug running debian?? I'm using Varkey's Debian rootfs.

I have seen the update and have those two modules: sha256 and cipher. Will the update solve my problems?

Thanks
shakaraba

Yarkey's rootfs uses my original uImage & modules, so I see no reason why it would not, unless the glibc in Varkey's debian is too far behind.

Sorry to be a little loosed, but I'm really afraid to block my pogo Pro. (and not brick as it's unbrickable ;) )
I'm using it for Domotica, and I really need it...

I'm encountering the udev vs oxnas pbm, and have already downloaded the script, but as far as I read your post Warhead, I can see that I've to do some command manually, is this still the case ?

I did a pacman -S pacman to upgrade it, and tried to do a lot of pacman -Syu (after changes, of course), and I feel that the pogo will not reboot...

Am I wrong ?

Yes: you have to change it to use the PCI kernel if you have a Wifi pro. If, that is, you care about the PCI.

No: If you have done the upgrade-oxnas & pacman upgrades correctly right, you should have no issues rebooting.

You know, in french, there's an expression who says : "C'est çà, je dois être un boulet", which means that I'm certainly stupid ;)

But, I did the upgrade, and tried to launch the pacman -Syu command, but the conflict between oxnas and systemd is still there...
I just want to be sure that I need to reboot now...

To be clear, in my perspective, Pacman is comparing local filesystem with a repository, that's why i don't understand why, after the script, it continues to raise the conflict... But I'm surely wrong... I just want to be sure...
Sorry ;-)

Do you have a serial connection? That will tell you right off the bat.

$this->bbcode_second_pass_quote('shakaraba', 'C')heck that kernel supports aes-cbc-essiv:sha256 cipher (check syslog for more info).

Just now I created such an encrypted partition on a USB stick using Ubuntu, and then successfully mounted it on my Pogo Pro running the updated kernel. I didn't have to load any modules explicitly. I think I would have got the same error messages as you running the old kernel.
