Iomega HMNDCE gmac firmware

Postby telzey » Fri Feb 24, 2012 7:11 pm

I'm compiling my own kernel for the Pogoplug with the current Iomega HMNDCE patches which are a lot newer than CloudEngine's kernel patches.

I can see that the Iomega gmac firmware supports the watchdog feature that isn't in either the Pogoplug or Medion gmac_copro_firmware.

Does anyone know if there's somewhere that I can get hold of the Iomega gmac_copro_firmware file so that I can try it on the Pogoplug?

For anyone curious ... the Iomega gmac firmware doesn't work on the pogoplug.

It's set to load at a different address and causes a kernel crash.

OTOH, the Medion gmac firmware does load and appears to work on the pogoplug.

This is probably a pointlessly geeky thing to try so .... :ugeek:
