[SOLVED] samba woes after pacman -Syuf

Postby chaskito » Wed Mar 07, 2012 5:11 am

First of all thanks to everyone who has spent time to get the linux kernel working, and the handy "ignore initscripts." I only had to rebuild my Pogo Pro once! After messing around with NFS and getting frustrated $this->bbcode_second_pass_code('', '/]# /etc/rc.d/nfs-server start
:: Mounting nfsd filesystem [BUSY] ERROR: could not insert 'nfsd': No such file or directory
[FAIL] ')
I decided to go back to my trusty samba server. BUT, it is wack as well! Searched google and have not found an answer.
$this->bbcode_second_pass_code('', '/]# /etc/rc.d/samba start
:: Starting Samba Server [BUSY] /usr/sbin/smbd: error while loading shared libraries: libwbclient.so.0: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory
/usr/sbin/nmbd: error while loading shared libraries: libwbclient.so.0: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory
[FAIL]')

My smb.conf file has not changed, but if it would be helpful I can post it (bare bones).
Any thoughts greatly appreciated! Thanks - -

Thanks! I reinstalled libwbclient and started samba. For some reason my shares show up much faster now. I wonder if this has to do with everything being upgraded...thanks again!
