Pogo plug pro getting started queries

Hey guys,

I have sucessfully installed oxnas on my plug and i want get few things clarified

1.How do i set a permanent ip for my plug?
2.When i try to update i get the following conflict messages should i have to give yes for everything?

:: udev and udev-oxnas are in conflict. Remove udev-oxnas? [y/N] N
error: unresolvable package conflicts detected
error: failed to prepare transaction (conflicting dependencies)')

3.I installed transmission using the tutorial provided here but iam not able to edit the config file whenever i try to an empty VI editior opens up

4.Can you please tell me how to uninstall transmission? if it is need to be uninstalled?

I just updated my pogoplug last night.

For #2
After two tries, I just let the system remove those two packages, once it was done I added them back.

Can you give me the exact step by step procedure inorder to update the ARch linux?

Always be sure, that if udev-oxnas is replaced, that it is re-installed before rebooting.
