- shorewall or iptable = firewall
- NFS or FTP server ?

The Pro's nfs/iptables problem isn't entirely the ""problem"" people think it is.

I couldn't suggest doing all of these concurrently, and as a firewall it may not be best as a gateway. The drive available for 2.6.x is not "great" to say the least, especially when tied to the PCIe bus as implemented by PLX's kernel.

owncloud = yes, its in the repos
caldav, yeah, but consider implementing on something other than apache, if possible.
cups, yes, sane, haven't tried it.
NFS, FTP, yes.

instead of apache i can use httpd ? and NFS work really : i see a post that it doesn't work ..

so what is the problem this this pogoplug and archlinux ? : kernel problem , hardware driver ?
- could you tell me what's wrong with this device
- what module or action that not supported on pogoplug PRO ?
- is there a wiki to install archlinux on it without break the waranty ?

Thanks for all ;D

*grr*

People always say this, but as I always say, "I didn't compile that module, it was more about getting it to work in the first place."

As for a wiki? Seriously.
