Firefly media server

Postby biomedica » Wed Apr 11, 2012 8:58 pm

Hi everybody,

I am running the Linux on a PogoPlug Pro and yesterday I attempted to install the Firefly media server in the server. It turns out that everything installed properly. I installed the following packages:

devtools
zlib
gdbm
libid3tag and
mt-daapd

Everything was installed using the command pacman -S

after attempting to start the server I always get the following error:

"mt-daapd: error while loading shared libraries: libgdbm.so.3: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory
"

Does anyone have any idea how to fix this issue? I have searched around but I was unable to find any viable solution for this. Right now, I can't even start the process.

Thanks for your help and time.

Sounds like mt-daapd needs a rebuild.
