Updating Pogo questions

Postby Mazdaspeed6 » Thu Apr 26, 2012 3:01 pm

I have been having trouble updating my POGO ever since its trying to replace a bunch of files like Kmod. When i update i cant SSH even after applying the fixes. I have a image from before the update attempt that i can restore to but what can i do before i try updating again to prevent this? Also i seem to be unable to mount anything after the update. Is there a way to prevent this as well before i update?

See the Announcement at the top of this section about prior-to-upgrading.

Thanks, i think i got it mostly working. For some reason though when i try to connect to samba share via friendly name it says its not valid yet the IP works. I can ping the hostname and it resolves to the correct IP...any ideas?

samba hostname != system hostname in DNS ;)

Not sure what you are saying, i checked the smb.conf and its netbios and server string are both the correct name. It was working earlier even after a reboot and it stopped all of a sudden.

Yes they are the same, i havent made any changes to that for a long time. Only thing i have done recently besides the update was install Deluge and Deluge-Webui and added both the daemons startup.
