P21 WOnt boot after update script

So after running the update script from the sticky i am unable to boot now. Everything seemed to run ok and when i rebooted it blinks a few times and stops at a amber LED. I made a Paragon disk image backup from my PC just before the update so i tried to roll back to that and it does the exact same thing. I also had a few older backups that i have used to restore back to in the past and are known working and they dont work either. Any ideas? i have let it sit a while at the amber and nothing changes and a IPscan of my network shows its not getting a IP or connected to my local network.

Amber light is a network failure. Sounds like a module problem.

What do you recommend? I would have thought restoring from a known good backup would fix it for sure.

NAND != Disk.

Make sure the module set matches the kernel you are booting from. If you are SATA booting with uboot & stage 1 on disk, you need to write the kernel to sda1

I do not use sata I boot from USB drive. How can I check module with no access to the box?

I am saying, try extracting them as a fresh rootfs, unaltered. See if either of those come up.

Gotcha, just did that to a fresh formatted USB drive and i am able to login now. I used the TAR from the main installation page. Am i going to need to do any special updating from this point or should i be ok running pacman -Syu and installing everything?
