green light blinking on the pogoplug b01

Postby biglizheng » Sat Aug 25, 2012 7:41 am

Hello,

I have somehow screwed my pogoplug by updating it without looking at the important notice. I tried the posts in the forum to recover it, but failed. Now the pogoplug is just blinking with green light. Can anyone provide some suggestions for help? Thanks.

Here is what I have tried.
I put my usb drive to my ubuntu

I've fdisk my usb drive following Step 7 and 8 in
http://archlinuxarm.org/platforms/armv6 ... provideov3
# umount /dev/sdc2
#/sbin/fdisk /dev/sdc2

and then make the ext3 file system by
# mkfs.ext3 /dev/sdc2
# e2label /dev/sdc2 rootfs
#eject /dev/sdc2

and then plug it into ubuntu again, and extract the root filesystem tarball onto the partition as the root user. And then put my mac address in.

I've tried three tarballs:
ArchLinuxARM-2012.05-oxnas.tar.gz
ArchLinuxARM-2012.02-oxnas.tar.gz
ArchLinuxARM-oxnas-latest.tar.gz
None of them works.

Can anyone give some help?

Thank you guys so much! :)
