Cannot Telnet or ssh

Recently i tried installing crypto-dev and it removed openssl but after reboot i cannot access the shell it says connection refused.Samba , Transmission everything is working i can access the data but no shell access.

I saw your earlier post where you are running kernel 2.6
Did you update to linux, which replaces that?
Did you arrange for cryptodev module to load?

No, No.

How do i proceed ahead now ? Can i just copy the extracted tarball to my usb and do a pacman -Syyu ?

You could do that, but you need to do it in a linux system, with a root user.

Will do that , but is there any other option by which i can get telnet/ssh enabled without copying of rootfs

Yes the tarball is of 2.6 Kernel of last december which ones should i be saying yes ?

Don't force, and take your time. You should be saying yes to everything, in order. Watch for the known issues: filesystem, hwids, fonts, etc.

I should keep my trap shut as I don't have a pp pro, but will updates need tempfs?
http://us.mirror.archlinuxarm.org/os/oxnas/update-oxnas/update-kernel.sh doesn't appear to cater for pci pro, or he could have used latest tarball, right?
Then not so many updates to do
