[RESOLVED] no ssh, flashing green after reboot pogo pro

Postby chaskito » Mon Nov 26, 2012 8:30 pm

Can someone point me in the right direction? Pogo Pro with fresh install of the latest tar, was running excellent for the past few months, nand, etc have been updated correctly. I wiped the usb last night and started over. Boots up excellently fresh, but after a pacman -Syu --ignore glibc no luck, can't ssh in and get flashing green light. Everything updated fine... I have searched for hours on the forums, I could just use a little guidance in my troubleshooting.

thanks!

You have to actually upgrade glibc as well after ignoring it!

So, is there a way of salvaging what I have done already Warheads? I havent't loaded anything extra yet. Thanks for your reply, this board is excellent and so patient with those of us that are less computer literate.

Not really any "easy" way to fix that.

Alright, I reinstalled alarm, updated without upgrading glibc, then followed the instructions at https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/DeveloperWiki:usrlib but I get the following:

So, after making sure that i had copied "udev" and "modules" and "firmware" to a separate directory (was there anything special I needed to do while copying? I intend on putting them back after glibc upgrade) I tried to update again:
$this->bbcode_second_pass_code('', 'pacman -Su

Still nothing. I won't reboot or add any useful packages until I figure out what daft mistake I have made.Do I have some permissions problems perhaps? I suppose if I knew how to remove the contents of /lib and then put them back without losing their symlinks I might be able to progress, still trying to figure that out....Thanks for any ideas.

Most of things are completely broken with the upgrade , however i was able to run it without updating glib

See this thread - viewtopic.php?f=29&t=4165&start=40

It is not completeoy broken, and I repeatedly tell how to do it. So much so that I no longer repeat myself.
