Postby kyprosv » Tue Jan 01, 2013 2:32 pm

Hey guys,

Happy new year.

I think i screwed my pppro. I tried to install ARCH LEENUCKS ARM!1ONE on it and now the green light blinks but never goes stable. And of course i can't boot. Any help appreciated.

I forgot to say that i am a noob :oP

I assume you tried to put the version for the Pogoplug v1/v2/v4, DockStar, GoFlex on your v3/B0x pogoplug? If yes, then see here:

If the green light is blinking, it not trying to use a kirkwood nand, so he hasn't totally bricked it.

$this->bbcode_second_pass_quote('WarheadsSE', 'I')f the green light is blinking, it not trying to use a kirkwood nand, so he hasn't totally bricked it.

I used the guide from http://ARCH LEENUCKS ARM!1ONE.tumblr.com/

Before doing this i had archlinux which i screwed 3-4 times. Then i reverted to Original firmware. Everything was working fine until i used that guide to install ipkg!

Tough luck i guess..

So if i got it right i have to create a Serial Cable? And then?

WarheadsSE do you have that image needed to fix it through Sata?

Pros don't have a JTAG port exposed. Serial is likely a best-to-have in either way, with or without SATA.

OK. So serial it is. Do i have to buy a CA-42 (or DKU-5) Cable or is there any easier way to do it?
