Pogoplug root Problem

Postby theslash » Sat Jul 06, 2013 3:19 am

Hi,
i hope you can help me.

I have a POGO-B04, and tried to install Archlinux with this tutorial:
http://archlinuxarm.org/platforms/armv6 ... asend-life

everything worked well, exept the "pacman -Sy udev-automount" part, i read a few things and came up to
this command:

"pacman -Syu --ignore filesystem,bash"

i didn't change the root password till that time, and after i startet the command, the pogoplug started to download some updates.

Unfortunately i hit STRG+C to cancel the download, and the device rebooted.
and now, i can't login with root / root....i don't know what the root password is.....

what can i do??

You are in the wrong forum. Yours is oxnas device. In oxnas forum there's a newer rootfs that you can install to allow smooth updates. So reinstall using that.
