Build RPi image

Postby jernst » Thu Jul 03, 2014 5:11 pm

I'm trying to script building a Raspberry PI SD Card image with some customizations and additional pre-installed software. I could create myself a script that downloads the then-current image file you guys build, mount it, and make modifications.

But I would prefer running the image creation process myself. Could you point me to the scripts / ... that you use to create that image? I've been looking in github/archlinuxarm but can't find anything there that looks like it. What are you using to do that? Probably not archiso (live medium only? I think?) or archboot (in-memory only? I think?)

Thanks,

Johannes.

make image file
make partitions on image file
format partitions
mount partitions
pacstrap
arch-chroot
enable dhcp & sshd
viola.

I had taken a shot at a script like that, but I'd prefer to reference somebody else's git, and spend my time helping improve that instead of starting yet another copy. Given that you guys keep producing new images, I postulate that such a script exists and is actively maintained :-)
