New Users Can't Login via SSH

Postby cachedrive » Sat Dec 26, 2015 1:41 pm

I've just installed Arch Linux and for some reason the only users who can login are 'alarm' & 'root'. I had to edit the sshd_config file to permit root login to yes. For some reason my main user <cachedrive> who has sudo access gets permission denied when attempting to directly SSH into the machine. I know the credentials are valid but I can't find anything in /etc/ssh that is preventing my main newly created user from logging in via SSH. Can anyone point me in the right direction?
