Chrony Wont Sync / Wrong System Date

Postby cachedrive » Sun Jan 24, 2016 8:04 pm

I've been suggested to use Chronyd for a time daemon on keeping time updated on my Rpi2 however my system date is 1970 and I'm unable to get Chronyd to correct that:

$this->bbcode_second_pass_code('', 'Welcome to Arch Linux ARM

[cachedrive@rpi1 ~]$ sudo systemctl status chrony.service

Process: 370 ExecStart=/usr/bin/chronyd -u chrony (code=exited, status=0/SUCCESS)
Main PID: 372 (chronyd)
CGroup: /system.slice/chrony.service
`-372 /usr/bin/chronyd -u chrony

')

I've set my mirrors to the arch defaults (just un-commented the URL's) in the /etc/chrony.conf.

Is it firing up before the network connects?

Personally, I am using systemd-networkd + systemd-timesyncd and have no issues at all.
