Couchpotato installation on Pogoplug E02

Postby gezeebeezee » Sat Apr 23, 2016 10:37 pm

Hi everyone,

I had couchpotato installed on a Pogoplug E02. After updating the system, couchpotato no longer runs so I tried upgrading the package using 'pacman -Sy couchpotato-git' but I receive a "target not found" error. I thought this might mean that couchpotato-git was removed from the AUR but it still appears to be there.

Any ideas?

Thanks!

pacman does not manage AUR packages. You need an AUR helper: cower, packer yaourt

Thanks moonman!

I'm still an ALARM noob but after a long afternoon of some research I figured it out and got it installed with YAOURT. Weird though because I'm almost positive i installed it initially with pacman.

It might have been previously added to our binary repo which is called "aur" but due to lack of maintenance it was removed. You can still get it from the proper AUR
