Broadcom's support for the brcmf wireless devices is terrible. For over a year I have been constantly losing connecting (or eventually have a kernel panic) on both Cubox-i and RPi.

Has anybody here made the switch to a wifi dongle? What would I need to do to disable brcmf from ever initializing and just use a dongle? Can I use a usb hub with the dongle (cubox has only two usb ports)?
