Postby 9acca9 » Thu Jan 26, 2023 11:14 pm

Hi.

I follow the install wiki for the rpi 2.
But what i need to install? i dont want to install anything that is not related.

I want to make sound the rpi 2 through the iQaudio DAC Pro (i found a pdf and put the relevant syntax in the config files related).
And put a Mopidy server (i know this)

But... i dont have sound...

I need to install pulseaudio?
what else?

So, almost working.

I install pulse audio, and config to receive mopidy.
But, it seems that pulse audio dont see my soundcard... :

$this->bbcode_second_pass_code('', 'actl list sinks
Sink #0
State: IDLE
Name: auto_null
Description: Dummy Output
Driver: module-null-sink.c
Sample Specification: s16le 2ch 44100Hz
Channel Map: front-left,front-right
Owner Module: 12
Mute: no
Volume: front-left: 66191 / 101% / 0.26 dB, front-right: 66191 / 101% / 0.26 dB
balance 0.00
Base Volume: 65536 / 100% / 0.00 dB
Monitor Source: auto_null.monitor
Latency: 1922817 usec, configured 2000000 usec
Flags: DECIBEL_VOLUME LATENCY SET_FORMATS
Properties:
device.description = "Dummy Output"
device.class = "abstract"
device.icon_name = "audio-card"
Formats:
pcm
')

Dummy Output???

$this->bbcode_second_pass_code('', 'aplay -l
aplay: device_list:274: no soundcards found...
')

But in alsamixer i see my iQaudio DAC Pro.

So, how i can make that pulse audio see the DAC? Thanks
