I'm new to the forums, and wanted to start by saying thank you for the ARM port of Arch Linux! I'm a daily Arch Linux Plasma driver, and I'm looking to see if I can get Plasma Mobile on my Android phone. So far, I've just rooted my phone and I'm able to read and write to the flash using
MTKClient. I noticed that the downloads page for Arch Linux ARM states that if my device isn't listed, to download the best image and supply my own kernel. The closest download candidate that I could find is the
Acer Chromebook R13 which at least matches the processor vendor. My particular CPU is a
Mediatek Dimensity 700. Also, I managed to find a GitHub repository which seems to be a Mediatek supported kernel
here. With all of this in mind, I'm not sure how to proceed about building the image so that I can flash it to my phone. Also, I'm looking to wipe the phone, so I'm not worried about formatting everything. Any help towards this is much appreciated!
