mldonkey is gone

Postby kabutor » Tue Jul 02, 2024 2:51 pm

I see that mldonkey in the arch arm repository is gone, the AUR says it's not valid for arm7hm shall I try to modfy the aur package or any other way to install it?

As an alternative if any can recommend a ed2k network client, headless that can do the trick

Thanks

You can try modifying the AUR package. The official repos hold amule.

Thanks for the reply, I tried to modify the pkgbuild, but I'm stuck with other problem:

gcc: error: unrecognized command-line option '-mno-omit-leaf-frame-pointer'; did you mean '-fno-omit-frame-pointer'?

And that google me into some technical stuff out of my league :)

I'm gonna check amule to see if that does the trick, I see it have a headless option, that is the only thing I need
