linux-raspberrypi4 5.10.63-15 fails to boot from SSD

I updated my system today and found that the update of linux-raspberrypi4 from 5.10.63-14 to 5.10.63-15 causes my system not to boot (from SSD). Downgrading back to 5.10.63-14 fixes the problem.

Need more to go on... -14 to -15 was a major rebuild. Error message? Boot log? Journalctl?

Sorry, don't have a u-hdmi cable to plug a screen in and there is no journal as far as I can tell (not started).

I don't own a pi zero so without some data we seem to be at an impasse.

Note this is about the linux-raspberrypi4 kernel package, on a RPi4 not a Pi Zero.

My bad, misread. Still need data in order to troublshoot. I never tried booting from USB or SSD.

@graysky, I just noticed that a couple of hours after your last post above, you pushed this change. What problem does that fix?

That actually broke building... it's fixed now. Try the latest kernel which fixes an issue with mkinitcpio which may be affecting your booting.

Well I updated from linux-raspberrypi4 5.10.63-14 to latest linux-raspberrypi4 5.10.63-17 but got the error:

Errors occurred, no packages were upgraded.

I then rm'd that file and then re-installed linux-raspberrypi4 5.10.63-17 and it rebooted ok.
