WiFi hangs

Postby cedricmc » Sun Nov 13, 2016 5:22 pm

Hi, there! Help really appreciated.

1) I access my host through ssh, ethernet cable.
2) I start the WiFi connection with 'netctl start'.
3) I access my host through ssh, wireless.
4) Pings and ssh to my host (ethernet and wirelss) work fine.
5) After 90s, pings and ssh to my host, wireless, hang.
6) I must restart wireless connection through the ethernet ssh.
7) Go to 5).

I really have no clue of what can be happening or how can I debug this. The only "problem" I see in "journal -f" is that, when activating the wifi, resolved changes the published hostname to avoid conflicts.

Thx!

PS: My host is a RPi3B. I did not know if to post this in here, under SW/ARMv7h or HW/ARMv8.

Linux myhostname 4.4.30-1-ARCH #1 SMP Tue Nov 1 21:50:15 MDT 2016 armv7l GNU/Linux')

Simply speaking, you have two separate programs attempting to handle your routing tables in an automated fashion.

Consider going with just systemd-networkd or just netctl. Not both.
