Why is gcc still at 9.3.0?

Postby titaniumtown » Mon Aug 17, 2020 5:44 pm

So this has been bugging me for a while, why is it that the PKGBUILDs for arch linux arm have gcc 10.1.0, but the build in the repo is 9.3.0.

Edit: gcc 10 is now in the repos!

I assume you refer to this commit. I assume there is something affecting one or more subarchs preventing the roll out. Do know that Arch ARM is run by a small group of volunteers generously donating their free time to the project.

$this->bbcode_second_pass_quote('titaniumtown', 'W')hat ever avr-gcc is, it's on 10.1.0 hmmm

You could have googled to find that AVR is a family of microcontrollers and so avr-gcc is the GNU AVR Compiler Collection.
