Syncthing Package vanished

Postby NeroBurner » Mon Sep 29, 2014 7:51 am

Hello, I am a happy user of syncthing using the Raspberry (arm-v6). I noticed that since version 0.9.5-1 there were no updates for syncthing and I wrote a Post in the syncthing forum about it [1]. When further researching I wasn't able to find the package in the community repo anymore. Does anyone know why it dropped out of the repo?

It was marked as skip because they're software's build was breaking on arm. If you'd like to revisit this, you may. There are 2 packages in the AUR, one is syncthing-bin that is using their officially released binary tarballs that they have, in some way, made work (reportedly). I don't use it, but feel free to test.

thanks for the pointers. I just downloaded the tarball of syncthing-bin, installed fakeroot and binutils, and let the pgkbuild do its magic. Worked like a charm. Now I am on 0.9.18 and I like it. Would be awesome if it would be added again to the community-repo
