Any way to recover Mac hard disk ?

Hi guys,

Is there any way to get deleted files back on Mac through Linux redhat. Which software do in need to install in order to do that?

Or is it better to do the job on Windows or Mac OS instead. Please explain it to me since i'm not so good with linux.

Which of these several applications for recovery I found is better: http://techalook.com/softwares/best-data-recovery
