MagicPlay request

There's a new open source MagicPlay protocol that is suppose to emulate AirPlay functionality. Looks like it's available on the Raspberry Pi:

It looks pretty cool. I don't know enough about Linux to make it work with Pogoplugs, but maybe someone on this forum would be interested in making it available. As with everything Arch, the many take advantage of the work done by the few. We appreciate it!

I took a quick look. Looks interesting, but I don't think it will catch on.

Have you looked into AirPlay for Android? I believe you have to root your device, but its possible.

What of SharePort that python based one... ShairPort or something.

Yeah, that's what I was talking about.

Shairport is the opensource implementation of Apple AirPlay.
