GoFlex NET wont boot, Unable to get to Marvell prompt!

Postby sissycockmilker » Sun Oct 13, 2013 5:39 am

Hi,
Used the ArchLinux Arm instructions from http://archlinuxarm.org/platforms/armv5 ... goflex-net the device ceased to boot. Got a good working rootfs of Wheezy and it is still not booting.

Serial console, output! (While loading hitting a key to abort booting, is not working) Pl. help!

Unable to get to Marvell prompt, hitting keys like crazy but does not stop from booting!

Looks like you have gibberish on your serial line. Check tx and gnd.

Thank you for your reply, I did check, however it reads initially and the output is the same every time.
I will do some more checking/experimenting and post here.

Thank you.

OMG I feel so stupid wasting a whole day trying to figure it out. Thank you so much.
I reattached the serial console and it worked.

If anyone could please help me further. Below are the environment variables.
