Any guidance on how to produce a local package database that is tied to the "arm" architecture, specially core.db etc as I'll needs to contact a database, even just running "pacman -U file.pkg.tar.xz" need to contact a working database for arm.

I asked on the parent site - but they refused to even consider the question, as its off topic - specifically it is on "Arch Linux x86_64 ONLY."

repo-add /path/to/reponame.db.tar.xz /path/to/pkgname-pkgver.pkg.tar.zst

Tar - I'll try that. Also I may just get the code for pacman - change it so it doesn't have to check the repository. Then make a static one, and then upload it to a site with my packages - so if anyone wants to update then can go with that ...
