Question about pogo_e02.sh md5sum args

Postby mu31tw » Tue Sep 13, 2016 5:34 pm

Hi,

Hope this is posted in the right place...

tl;dr: Should pogo_e02.sh really be using the -s argument with md5sum?

I would like to reinstall arch on an old pogo E02, which hasn't been updated since 2012 or so(!). I tried with pacman but it's just too far gone, so I'm trying to re-run the commands listed at https://archlinuxarm.org/platforms/armv ... 2-pinkgray. However, the pogo_e02.sh script won't run, complaining about invalid args to md5sum (-s). I thought maybe this was just a result of using an old version of md5sum, but if I check the manpage in a newer install or Arch, I don't see that argument listed. Googling also didn't turn up much info. Does anyone know any more about this? Am I just using an old/dodgy version of md5sum? Or should this be changed in the script?

Thanks.
