systemd boots into rescue mode

Postby Frex » Wed Sep 04, 2013 1:41 am

A few days ago I performed a very late upgrade to systemd which has left my DockStar booting but inaccessible, the machine doesn't respond to pings, systemd is going into Rescue mode.

So I unzipped the latest rootfs on a thumb drive and made a few attempts. Noticed some of the systemd files/linkery for the multi-user target were missing on the hard drive, so I copied and linked accordingly. Then forced systemd to go into multi-user mode through usb_custom_params, no luck. The following are messages from this latter stage, with systemd debug enabled.

http://pastebin.com/3cD68Hg4

I'd really like to fix this without reinstalling.

Well well, with 37 views and no replies at all, if that isn't my cue for switching - I don't know what else it is. Thanks for all the fish.
