PogoPlug v4 (mobile) not boot when USB plugged

Postby saukerl » Thu Sep 19, 2013 9:15 am

Hi,

I have a Pogoplug Mobile with USB powered Hub with USB stick and USB HDD.

I installed the archlinuxarm following the instructions: http://archlinuxarm.org/platforms/armv5 ... g-series-4 on the USB stick. After that I rebooted and pogoplug is running ok.

After that I installed the samba service following the instructions described:
http://blog.qnology.com/2013/03/tutoria ... linux.html
The samba service, I had linked /media/usb/ on second HDD.

Since then, when I reboot the pogoplug with both disks ( USB stick and USB HDD) the pogoplug stucks on green blingking light.
But if I reboot with only USB stick the pogoplug boots correctly. And when the green light is not blingking I can plug the USB HDD and samba is running correctly.

What could be wrong ?? What can I do to reboot with both USB memory correctly ??

Another option would be to install ALARM on your USB hard drive and skip using the USB flash drive. Just setup your hd with two partitions - a small one of 4GB and the rest for data/samba.
