any good arch gui apps that work well with xming ?

have been using my pogo with arch in console mode only.

Are there any interesting apps that would run on the pogo, that can be accessed by windows/xming, and not be (overly) redundant with the same functionality running on the windows desktops?

Well, only the X calls are forwarded over X11/xming forwading, and all processing is done on the plug in this case. Nothing heavy would be usable unless you have something with a decent horsepower CPU.
