How to add kernel boot parameters

Postby Chryses » Sun Feb 23, 2014 5:25 pm

The nas take about 2 min to reboot, so I searched for a solution and I found that maybe some process don't shutdown correctly and so the system wait before kill it. So I found a page that explain a method, add some kernel boot parameters to debug the message and find whats wrong, if something is wrong.

But I don't have found any way to add those parameters, like systemd.log_level, I don't know what file I need to edit to do this debug.

Any suggestion?

Currently, on the NSA325 (which I assume this is what you are referring to) there is no file to edit. To do this, I would strongly suggest using serial console and making the changes necessary without saving the changes.
