CUPS Filter failed for Kodak ESP 5200

Postby m076162 » Thu Feb 26, 2015 2:06 pm

I have made the switch from the awful Pogoplug program to ALARM which has been working out great so far. I am trying to setup CUPS to work with my Kodak ESP 5200 printer. Right now if I print, the filter will fail but the printer will actually attempt to print the page. I have tried printing the test page on CUPS as well as a text doc from my laptop and the same thing will happen. I have also tried printing using the socket IP connection as well as USB. I think my problem has something to do with the following line:

D [26/Feb/2015:08:44:51 -0500] [CGI] /usr/share/cups/drivers/pscript5.dll: No such file or directory

: But I have kept the entire error log for my last job attempt to offer some context. Thanks for the help in advance.
