Gnome desktop does not start

It is probably just waste of time to try to run Gnome on Zyxel NSA325-V2. Anyway, that is what I am doing :)

Everything is installed, X is working properly, but Gnome starts with a big error screen saying: Oh no! Something has gone wrong. A problem has occurred and the system can't recover. All extensions have been disabled as a precaution.

There are all kinds of things mad there. How are you launching this?

(logind, XDG_RUNTIME_DIR, etc)

I use xrdp using these instuctions:

I made an rdp connection with MobaXterm in Windows.

I also tried a few other ways. Just starting gnome-session from terminal window, starting vncserver and connecting with TightVNC. Other way was to start gnome by startx and .xinitrc. I also tried enabling required modules at startup using systemctl. All methods gave the same result.

logind.conf does not set any values. XDG_RUNTIME_DIR is empty.

I used the GoFlexNet with the old system. 1 USB pendrive for the system (boot), and 1x 320 GB 2,5" hdd for data
ftp,samba, transmission runs on it.

I never did figure out how to get gnome to run, that one of the reasons I ended up with icewm.
