Systemd Freezes after initial install

Postby fluxor » Tue Apr 28, 2015 2:44 am

Hey all,

I ran into a problem trying to get alarm installed on my NSA320. I'm getting the following message on startup.

$this->bbcode_second_pass_quote('', '[') 32.204354] systemd[1]: Failed to run event loop: Invalid argument
[ 32.234365] systemd[1]: Failed to run main loop: Invalid argument
[ 32.567043] ADDRCONF(NETDEV_UP): eth0: link is not ready
[!!!!!!] Failed to run main loop, freezing.
[ 35.725448] mv643xx_eth_port mv643xx_eth_port.0: eth0: link up, 1000 Mb/s, full duplex, flow control disabled
[ 35.735580] ADDRCONF(NETDEV_CHANGE): eth0: link becomes ready
[ 45.784284] eth0: no IPv6 routers present

After which the machine freezes. Is there a way around this ? I have gone over the boot variables and made sure that my partitions look good and are readable, but no amount of googling gives me an idea as to what these log messages mean. Any help or direction is greatly appreciated. Thanks

I have been able to get the machine to boot into the rescue target of systemd, but the the messages through journalctl have not given any insight into what is causing the messages and "freeze" that I'm seeing in dmesg. After resuming from the rescue target the machine goes right back to Failed to run main loop, freezing.
