what does the front light do? You can also try the boot from sata method. Search for it.

The front light does not turn on any time now. There is a little LED on the board and it lights and stay on. I put the Hard drive on the SATA and it spins but it don't boot.

I guess the only way to fix this is to buy something that I can program the flash ram memory but it cost about $30. But can buy another Pogoplug pro for only $15 with free shipping.

So I guess I can just use the WiFi card and power supply on it. Though all the other thing in the trash.

do you still get messages through the serial connection? if so, you can get it back to booting.

No I get nothing though the serial connection. I can press Enter all I want nothing. I know it's the right settings for it too.

You should get a serial connection, however you need a flash programmer, with the properly prepared SATA boot "magic" the SoC will boot directly off the SATA port (multiplexers not supported).
