To fix another problem, I tried to downgrade to the previous version of glibc. Unfortunately pacman crashed half-way through the reinstall and rendered the following LOCALE mismatch which prevents the running of any and every program:
loadlocale.c:130: _nl_intern_locale_data: Assertion `cnt < (sizeof (_nl_value_type_LC_COLLATE) / sizeof (nl_value_type_LC_COLLATE[0]))' failed.
If it were an x86 archlinux system, the repair advice is to boot using a USB live Arch Linux instance and then repair using pacman, pacstrap. However, I understand it's not possible to boot the NSA325 from USB
Does anyone know of any other possible solution to repair the locale mismatch
