I have a pogo e02
I just upgraded my uboot using the latest pogo_e02.sh from:
http://archlinuxarm.org/os/armv5te/boot ... ogo_e02.shcopied in new files for /boot as well as /usr/lib/modules/
all seems to be working well as far as core functionality goes, but there are a series of 'challenges' i need help solving now.
1) It won't boot with multiple usb devices plugged in
2) i can't get netconsole up and running again (I had it working before)
3) the rescue image doesn't seem to be booting when i dont have any usb devices plugged in
I'd like to start by asking your help with #1 as its the most urgent (at least at the moment)
USB devices:
a) USB key with rootfs on it
b) 2TB HDD
c) 2TB HDD
Everything works fine if only (a) is plugged in when i boot. but i have to wait to plug in (b) and (c) until its clearly all ready in the boot process. If I try to start with all three plugged in, the pogo gives a green light but no further usb activity is seen..
What i've tried:
- Moving the usb key around to different positions.. Currently in lowest position in back
- creating a file uEnv.txt in /boot/ that contains:
$this->bbcode_second_pass_code('', 'root=PARTUUID=2a046881-60b9-4b52-ad49-df0ed5015a44')
OR
$this->bbcode_second_pass_code('', 'extraargs=root=PARTUUID=2a046881-60b9-4b52-ad49-df0ed5015a44')
OR
$this->bbcode_second_pass_code('', 'extraargs=root=UUID=2a046881-60b9-4b52-ad49-df0ed5015a44')
the kernel command line reported by dmesg is:
$this->bbcode_second_pass_quote('', 'K')ernel command line: console=ttyS0,115200 root=/dev/sda1 rw rootwait mtdparts=orion_nand:1M(u-boot),-(rootfs)
which clearly doesn't reflect the root=partuuid= .... that i have in place when i booted
here is the full dmesg (this is achieved by plugging in (a) the usb key, and then plugging in (b) and (c) once its already started booting)
