Resolv.conf - DNS - Raspberry Pi

Postby ttind » Sun Aug 24, 2014 12:06 am

Hello,

First of all i'm really glad to see that Arch is available for Raspberry Pi.

I tried to change DNS like the usual way. https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/resolv.conf

I reboot the Raspberry but the "ping" command (google) always listen my local ISP.
It seems like arch ignore the resolv.conf.
Maybe its important to know i didn't use dhcp . I use static ip addresses.

On a Desktop PC i'm getting the IP directly from google.com. ( 80.228.65.183 )
The Raspberry resolve domain with pieces of my ISP. ( **ISP**.cache.google.com )

First, i can't quote direct - "This topic is too old to reply, so, it's locked now. Thanks."

In my "/etc/resolv.conf" exist "nameserver 8.8.8.8".
You are right "systemd-resolved" disabled by default. So i started and enable at startup but nothing changed.

I have checked if "systemd-resolved" successfully running and it run with green status (active).
